Kostas Roofing is a 3rd generation, family owned company in Boston, Mass. that has been in continuous operation since 1969. The company was founded by George Kostas who learned the sheet metal trade at the South Boston Soldiers and Sailors Fabrication Corp in the early 1950’s. He later established the family business in a small garage in the area known as Assembly Square Somerville, applying his sheet metal skills around many of Boston’s brownstone buildings and flat roofs. Anna Kostas (wife of George) worked at the company from it’s start until his death in 1982. Theresa Kostas DeLuca (daughter of George & Anna Kostas) worked at the company from 1979 until her retirement in 1997.

Today the company is operated by his son, Nicholas Kostas (a 40 plus year employee and company president since 1975), Nick Jr., and Paul Kostas having over 20/15 years of service respectably with the company. The 4th generation of Kostas Roofers (Nick Jr.’s son) Joshua is just now entering the business in 2009.
